FOTD | BRONZE GLITTER MAKEUP LOOK

I love all those makeup looks with glitter I see on Instagram so I finally decided to give it ago. I created a smokey eye a few weeks ago so I decided what would it look like if I added a bit of glitter so this weeks FOTD is a glitter inspired makeup look, its a bit over the top but oh well isn't that the greatest part about playing dress up, it is at least for me and I love it so I decided to share it with you.

PRODUCTS USED

FACE

L'oreal True Match Foundation - Cappuccino & NYX Tinted Moisturizer - Almond
I had to mix both these shades to achieve the perfect match for my skin tone.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter - Topaz
I mixed this shimmering base with the foundation to add a bit of glow to the complexion
NYX Dark Circle Corrector - Deep
To conceal the dark circles just under the eyes
NYX HD Concealer - Nutmeg
I applied this every where that needed a bit of extra coverage
Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Concealer - Dark
I applied this as a highlighter
Ben Ne Banana Powder
I used this to set the concealer
Bare Minerals Touch Up Veil - Tan
I used this to set all the foundation and all the other makeup

EYES

Becca Eye Ping Perfecter
I used this as my base for the rest of the makeup, its a nude shade so its invisible once its blended into the skin
Maybelline 24HR Colour Tattoo - Bronze
Since it was a smokey eye I like to use cream base so that the smoke eye looks really smoked out and its easy to blend
Urban Decay Naked Basics - Faint & Crave
I used Faint as the setting shade to set in the cream shadow and blended it out then I used Crave which is a black on top of it create the smokey effect
Maybelline The Nudes Palette - The Matte Brown from the second row and the Matte Black from the second row and Shimmer Brown from the second row and the Shimmer Cream from the first row
I used the matte brown on top of the black and blended and then used the matte black on top again and smoked it out even more. I then used the Shimmer Brown on top to add a bit of sparkle and blended everything out. I used the Shimmer Cream shade just under the brow bone and in the inner corners of the eyes. On the lower lash line I used the Matte Brown and Matte black and blended it all out.
Heroin Makeup Heavy Rotation Gel Eyeliner - Black
I used this as the eye liner to give some definition
Clio Gelpresso Waterproof Gel Liner - Black
I used this in the water line
Benefit They're Real Mascara
Topshop Facial Glue
I applied this on top of the makeup to help the glitter stick on to the shadows
Colour2 Loose Glitter - Bronze
I patted this on to the eyelids with a flat eye shadow brush

BROWS

Flomar Nude Dudes Eye Shadow Palette
I used the last two shades in this palette which is a dark brown and light brown shade. This created the perfect shade to match my brows

CHEEKS

Zoeva Coral Spectrum
I mixed two shades
Zoeva Nude Spectrum
I used the shimmer bronze shade

LIPS

MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil - Etcetera
I lined the lips to give definition
NYX Matte Rouge Lipstick - Maison

I think adding the glitter is perfect for a night out with your gals, the glitter just add a bit of pop to the whole look and I love it. This a smokey eye with a glitter twist added to it. I love bronze eye shadow and when I found this loose glitter I just had to have it and I love how it turned out. What do you think of this weeks FOTD? Is it something you would recreate yourself?
