L'OREAL MEGA VOLUME MISS MANGA PUNKY MASCARA
This mascara was very different to ones that I usually buy for myself so I was actually intrigued and that was what made me what to buy it and give it ago. The packaging as you can see is very much the same as a usual mascara, just a bit chunkier. The most distinguished difference is the wand, its so much more different. It has spikes that are in threes and much shorter and the bristles are plastic and more stiff. The shorter bristles on the wand gives a very different look to your lashes.
Once you start applying the mascara, the lashes tend to kind of stick to each other but once I applied the second coat the lashes got separated and they looked thicker and a bit fuller. However the es did feel a bit clumpy and heavy for me. However what I do like to do is remove the excess mascara from the wand and then coat the lashes this way the lashes aren't over coated and don't clump, stick together or feel heavy. The lashes kind of have that Asian influence (since manga is a comic that is famous in Japan) to it like you see here in Asia, where most girls like the heavy clumpy look. I have seen fake lashes as well that have very different looks to than the regular ones we use. When I was in Japan I saw girls dressed up as characters and that is the way they dress on a daily basis and some girls even go the extend of completely changing their looks to look like certain characters and dolls.
I don't wear the mascara everyday, but I do like to wear it when ever I want something a bit more dramatic and different. I like to wear this mascara when ever I do a smokey eye I think it kind of creates a different illusion and feel to the whole makeup look. I think if you like chunky looking lashes then this is something you should try out but if you don't like it when your lashes stick together then you should stay away from this for sure.
