SUPERDRUG TEA TREE FACIAL CLEANSING PADS

Facial cleansing pads have been out there for some time now but I never saw the appeal to be honest and never really wanted to try one out. I was quite stoked that my local supermarket was stocking Superdrug skincare so I have been trying a few of the products from the tea tree skincare range. I tried the Exfoliating Scrub that you can catch up on if you like. Recently I came across their cleansing pads and since it was tea tree and tea tree actually helps my skin I thought that I will give them ago and try these Superdrug Tea Tree Facial Cleansing Pads. You can get them at Superdrug for £2.99 and most of the time they on offer.

It comes in a little handy pot and You do get quite a few cleansing pads that will last maybe a month, month and a half depending on how often you use them. The cleansing pads are infused with natural tea tree oil and peppermint oils. The cleansing pad has two sides to it, one side which is a bit rough and the other side is more of a softer side that your supposed to use after you have exfoliated your skin to calm and soothe it. All you have to do is use the rough side of the cleansing pad first in a circular motion all over your face or if you like you could just use it in certain areas that you feel need a bit of exfoliating. I usually go over the whole face once and concentrate more on the t-zone, chin and cheeks.

I immediately noticed ho my skin felt and looked so much smoother and I felt my skin looked refreshed and fresh. The tea tree and peppermint isn't over powering or irritating and the best part my skin didn't have a bad reaction nor did I break out. I usually break out when my skin is over exfoliated. These cleansing pads were much softer and gentler on my skin though it did get a pinkish if I used a bit of heavy hand when I was exfoliating so be careful. Once you have exfoliated all you have to do is use the smoother side in the same circular motion to soothe and kind of tone the skin. My skin immediately felt calm if I had used a heavy hand.

I really enjoyed using these pads, I can exfoliate my skin without it breaking out and skin actually felt smoother and those pesky white heads and blackheads that are sometimes invisible but you just know are there under the skin were all gone, my nose and chin area was so much softer once I started using these cleansing pads and I now prefer using them to an actual exfoliating scrub. By no means will I be getting rid of my favourite St,Ives scrub but I think I will be using these cleansing pads much more often.

Have you ever tried these Superdrug Cleansing Pads? I really recommend these pads if like me and this will be your first time using cleansing pads. What do you think of cleansing pads? Let me know in the comment box below.
