NOTD | RIMMEL GLASTON-BERRY

As the sun becoming more of an occurrence I thought it was time to get ready for spring in style with some nail polish inspiration and what better way than a nail polish from the Rita Ora collaboration with Rimmel, its called Glaston-Berry. I was actually super excited when I found out that one of the local drugstores here in Hong Kong are stocking Rimmel nail polishes. I was so excited that I had to grab a few and since spring is around the corner I got a few shades that are spring appropriate.

I bought my nail polish from Mannigs here in Hong Kong and it cost HK$39 which is awesome. I hope they bring the makeup collection too. The usual wear time with any nail Rimmel Nail polish, roughly three days before there was any chipping. However I did find that the nail polish is a bit on the thicker side so it does take a bit longer to dry so I recommend waiting about a minute before applying the second coat.

I did try my hand at a bit of nail art and tried a nail art tape. It did get a bit messy but I think that it went pretty well for my first time. As a tip I suggest cutting all the tape before you apply the nail polish, silly me. I chose a bronze tape to go with the orange nail polish and it matches quite well, think I like nail art and see why there is such a fuss about it.

What do you think of my NOTD this week? Have you tried any of the Rita Ora nail polishes? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.
