MAVALA THINNER FOR NAIL POLISH

I have tried nail polish and base coats from Mavala but I had never tried any of their other nail care products. Once I moved to Hong Kong I came a cross a few different products for nails and nail polish and I was naturally intrigued so I decided to try a few. Today I want to share a little secret to revive your old hardened nail polishes and its the Mavala Thinner, I bought it from Sasa and it cost HK$48. I bought a thinner because I had a few nail polishes that I really loved that were a bit thick and sticky but I just couldn't part with them. The best way to revive them was by using a thinner, I have used nail polish remover before but they don't last that long and then nail polish hardens up eventually.

The thinner comes in a handy little bottle that is easy to use and store. The tip of the bottle has a little tip that makes the thinner come out in droplets but you do need to be careful because some times a few drops come out one after the other. The thinner is a colourless and odourless liquid. All you need is a drop or two to loosen up the nail polish to revive it.

The nail polish immediately becomes softer and the best part the nail polish doesn't lose its original thickness. The nail polishes that I have used the thinner on is still usable and hasn't got dry or hard, this is what I love about this thinner. I have not used a nail polish thinner before so I cant compare but this one did it job and kept the nail polish intact. Specially during the colder month nail polishes tend to harden up and this is a good add on to have in your nail polish collection.

Have you come across the Mavala thinner? What did you think? Have you ever tried a nail polish thinner? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.

  4. I have used a few different thinners and I always come back to the Mavala one. It's the best and though it's quite expensive it lasts forever!
