MAKEUP REVOLUTION MAKEUP BRUSHES
ANGLED EYEBROW BRUSH (E104)
The brush is the same as any makeup brush, its very sleek and very light and the bristles are synthetic. This is an angled brow brush and I actually quite like it. The size of the tip of the brush is perfect to get those sparse areas and fill them up. As I have very thin eyebrows I prefer the smaller sized brow brushes as its much easier to use and actually gets the job done for me. The bristles of the brush is a bit stiff making it perfect to outline the shape of your brows and then fill it in. I also like to use it as an eyeliner brush specially when I am doing a smokey eye because its so much easier to blend and smudge the eyeliner because of the size of the brush. You could also use it as a regular eyeliner brush. So basically you get more than one use out and I like it when makeup brushes become multitasking, makes life so much easier.
FLAT CONCEALER BRUSH (F102)
I don't know about you but I prefer to use my fingers when applying my concealer as its so much easier to get a natural look. I do however, do use a concealer brush at times to apply concealer so I thought I shall try this one. Its a flat concealer brush and the round tip of the brush makes it so much easier for precision application. I apply the concealer using it kind of in a dabbing motion and then blend it with fingers. This brush is perfect for those hard to reach areas like around the nose and lips. More than using as a concealer brush I prefer to use it as an eye shadow brush. Since its a flat brush it makes it the perfect brush to pack eye shadow onto your eyelids. This comes very handy when you have to apply loose pigments or glitter eye shadow. You can apply the eye shadow precisely onto the lids and pack it as much as you want. There we go again, another multitasking makeup brush.
ROUND EYE SHADOW BLENDING BRUSH (E103)
This round eye shadow blending brush is perfect, one of the best I have come across recently. The shape of the brush is perfect for the crease area and for blending out those harsh edges after creating the perfect eye makeup and even good for achieving the V shape at the corner of your eyes. The bristles are super soft so when your blending out your eye shadow it doesn't hurt your skin and if your in a hurry its perfect because it will give you an evenly blended out look without any harsh edges. You can also use it to apply your eye shadow and then blend it out that way your saving time, that comes very handy when your in a rush in the morning. I have use it with powder and cream eye shadows and work well with both. If I am being honest this is my favourite of the three brushes that I bought because once I created my look my eye shadow looked perfect, it was well blended and was so easy to achieve because this brush was just fantastic. I loved this brush so much that I bought a few more to add to my collection.
These brushes have been quite impressive and not what I expected. They were not very expensive and Makeup Revolution is a budget friendly brand. Each of the brushes cost HK$35 and for that price I have to say they are wonderful and worth investing your money in. The brushes are super soft, easy to wash and don't shed. The brushes are absolutely light making it so easy to maneuver and move around. I have deep cleaned them several times now and they have still not shed even once. If your conscious about it being animal friendly you have nothing to worry, they are.
