REVIEW | MILANI BRILLIANT SHINE LIP GLOSSES

One of the first things I did when I was in the USA was check out the products by Milani and made a mental note on what I need to get for myself at the end of my trip. I am someone who loves lipstick so I chose the lipsticks naturally but what caught my eye was the lip glosses from the Brilliant Shine collection. I bought two shades and they were called Mauve Fetish, and Brown Berry. I bought them from Walgreens and they cost $5.79.

MILANI BRILLIANT SHINE LIP GLOSSES

Milani aced it when it comes to lip gloss and I have to say I was impressed. I am someone who hardly wears lip gloss but these lip glosses have me wearing them all the time. These lip glosses are non sticky, has an amazing shine to them, they super soft and creamy, what more do you want from a lip gloss. The one thing that is noticeable is that these lip glosses are a bit more thicker than regular lip glosses when it comes to its texture so you will have to be a bit careful when applying them as your hair strands might get caught up in the mix so be sure to keep your hair away if you've got long hair.

There are some amazing shades in this collection and they all look just tempting but I had to control myself and I bought only two shades that would suit my skin tone. Berry Brown is a brown lip gloss with a red undertone and Mauve Fetish is a perfect nude for my skin tone. I wear them alone and I wear them on top lipsticks as well because I love how the finish of these glosses look on my lips.

They don't last very long but I was able to get about 2-4 hours if I hadn't eaten anything,as you know lip glosses don't last as much as lipsticks. Milani has done really well when it comes to lip products because you get good quality, amazing shades and an affordable price tag. I love their lipsticks as well that I just had to do a review that you can read HERE. Products like this make me love high-street brands and sometimes it quite hard to believe that they are a drug store makeup.

Have to tried any of the Milani lip glosses or even their lipsticks? Did you like them? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.

  4. I have long been a huge fan of Milani but I never tried their lip gloss because I hate it in general. I can't stand how sticky most lip glosses are and they never last long on my lips. But I might pick up a couple to try after reading these are not sticky, no harm in trying.

  5. I always end up wiping off my gloss within an hour if they even last that long. I just can't find any that I really like. I really love the colour of Mauve Fetish! Also, I’ve nominated you for the versatile blogger award :) You can find more information at: http://www.misslaurabora.com/2016/01/the-versatile-blogger-award.html

  6. I've wanted to try Milani for the longest time but it's so difficult to get hold of in the UK, or at least I think it is! I really love the shades you've chosen, they really compliment your skintone xx
