MEILIN COSMETICS LIQUID EYELINER
L to R - Black, Royal Blue, Deep Green, Maroon, Purple
Its the old school liquid eyeliner, it comes in a little jar with a felt tip. There are five different colours that come in this range of eyeliner. I think the lighting is a bit too bright but they very pigmentation. Since its a felt tip you have all the control and its easy to maneuver around. As you can see from the pictures the tip is pretty thin so you can achieve a very sleek eyeliner or if you prefer a thick eyeliner that easy to achieve too, either way your choice can be met. Its easy to draw the flick at the end of the eyelid because the tip is so fine. You can also fill in the gaps very easily too since its more of a liquid, unlike when you use a gel eyeliner.
The colour payoff is pretty impressive for a very low budget brand and even the coloured ones have good colour payoff, they are actually visible once you have applied even though its lesser known brand. The liquid itself is more has more of a thicker texture to it so you will have to wipe off the excess before applying it. The eyeliner does dry up pretty fast so you don't have to wait with your eyes closed till its dry to continue with your makeup. I have mentioned this before but still let me tell you that I do have pretty oily eyelids so sometimes certain liquid eyeliners don't last all day and this is one of those. It does last relatively well till the end of the day but since my eyelids are oily by the end of the day they have faded a bit and its not as pigmented. sadly It tends to wear off on my eyes. However it doesn't flake or crumble throughout the day. If I do used it over an eye primer I have noticed that it does last a bit longer which is a good thing. Its not like its a well known brand and its relatively pretty cheap so you cant expect high quality but for the price I paid I was pretty impressed, it has good colour payoff and lasts relatively well till the end of the day. Taking the eyeliner off is a bit of a task because you have to soak a cotton pad with eye makeup remover and hold it for about 30 seconds and then wipe if off if not you will end up with panda eyes.
I always have this in my makeup collection because its easy to use and I like the control I can over it when applying the eyeliner. True it does tend to fade away but if I am going out during the day this is what I reach for. There is a bit of fading but I think it does a pretty decent job for me. I have repurchased this a few times so I would recommend it if your on the lookout for an inexpensive eyeliner.
