OOTD | A ZIGZAG OUTFIT

Its the weekend and just in two short weeks I will be on my very first visit to the US, oh how I cannot wait to visit all the beauty counters and buy makeup till my heart is content. Getting back on track (sorry was in makeup heaven) to I have an outfit  that I would love to share. I usually don't like the shade yellow in fashion never have and never will but recently on one of my trips back home I went to the department store and came across this yellow printed top and for some reason really liked it. So I just had to put an outfit together to celebrate me embracing the colour yellow to a certain extent.

The material is absolutely soft and so light and makes it perfect for the hot and humid weather here in Hong Kong. You actually don't feel like your wearing anything, its that light in texture. I had to style it with my favorite pair of jeans that I bought from Forever 21, super comfy and soft.

As the top is quite bold and very loud I chose a pair of jeans that was muted and lighter in tone so that the top becomes the center of attention. With roads and pavements very busy here I always opt for a pair of ballet pumps or sneakers, the comfiest and easiest to walk around the city in. I styled this outfit for a day out shopping so i needed something comfortable yet a bit stylish and summer appropriate. The outfit is bold and simple just how I like it. After wearing this yellow top I am now more open to wearing yellow but it has to be either printed or in small doses if not I will be staying clear of it.

What do you think of yellow? Do you like my weekend OOTD? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.

  1. Aaaawww, love the yellow zigzag tops so much Nashia! The colour really suits you well....

I just realise that I don't have many tops. Most of my outfits are dresses (maxi dress) because my body shape isn't great and I'm also wearing hijab. Nice post!
