OUTFIT INSPIRATION - TUNICS

OUTFIT INSPIRATION - TUNICS

Lets begin with defining what tunic top really is, its a long, loose fitting top with out without sleeves that covers your hips. Tunic tops is one of the most versatile piece of clothing that you can have in your wardrobe.

Tunics can be dressed up or down depending on the style, fabric and how you style it. Tunics are comfortable and gives you room to move around and stay cool making it perfect for the summer really but don't let that deter you from wearing it in the winter. During winter the best options would be cashmere and silk tops and cotton for the summer obviously.

Depending on your body shape you need to choose one that suits you so its more flattering, that's whats amazing about tunics because they are so versatile that any body shape can find one that will suit them. For a per shaped body look for tunics with side slits so this prevent it from clinging on to your thighs  and rear end. The tunic needs to either fall below your widest area or above it. An apple shaped body need to stay clear from tunics that are very body hugging and it needs to be longer and have a V neck. Hourglass body shape is the best for tunics because no matter the style it will fit you perfectly but try to find ones that are a bit tighter and fit your body properly. Full body figures need to find a balance between the figure hugging tunics and loose fitting tunics. The collar bone and wrists need to be visible if you wear a tunic because these features are slimming. The rectangle body shape is a bit more trickier so you need to find a tunic top that buttons down and has belt at the waist because that will help create the illusion of a waist, there by creating curves. Last but not least the petite figure need to find one that is a bit shorter and no puffy sleeves.

A Few Styling Tips To Remember

A loose tunic top is best styles with a pair of skinny jeans or straight jeans with the longer and flared out tunics. A pair of shorts can be perfect for a wearing with a tunic top but remember the shorts need to be visible. If you wear a longer tunic top then you need to create a balance and wear a pair of wedges to create the illusion of height. If you wear a belt with your tunic top they you need to avoid accessories such as necklaces. A tunic dress can wear worn with a skirt or even skinny jeans and look amazing. If your someone who doesn't like shorts then you can wear them with cropped pants but remember that they shouldn't be too wide and relaxed but more tight fitting at the end. They should also not end at the widest part of your calves.

A tunic tops is one of the most flattering for women so embrace it and add your own spin to it. Once you learn how to wear them and style them, it will become your best friend and you wont know how to stay away from them. What do you think of tunic tops?
