SUMMER HAIR CARE SERIES PART 5

As summer is coming to an end so is my hair care series and today I have my final part of the Summer Hair Care Series, you can catch Part 4 if you like. Summer can be quite damaging to your hair even though we love going out in the sun and lying around the beach. So with everyone gone on holidays its time to give your hair some TLC and prepare it for the coming winter season. Today's post is all about hair rehab and what we should try and do to restore its back to its natural condition.

HAIR REHAB

SUMMER HAIR CARE SERIES PART 5

LEAVE IN CONDITIONER

The harsh ray from the sun can be damaging on your hair even though we sometimes neglect to prepare our hair before leaving the house. Summer time also means salt water and lots of exposure to harsh weather. The sun, chlorine and sea salt can really do a lot of harm so the best would be to apply a leave in conditioner before going out. The leave in conditioner acts as a barrier and protects the hair when exposed to the sun and outside environment.

RINSING YOUR HAIR

No matter what your outdoor activity, its always a good thing to rinse your hair. Just a simple rinse without shampoo will be fine. You could alternatively use a conditioner as this will help to de-tangle your hair and seal your hair cuticles to prevent moisture loss and control frizz.

REST

Giving your hair some space to breather is the best thing you can do to give it some much needed TLC. Let your hair air dry without using any hot tools and embrace your natural hair for awhile. It can also create a new and different look.

HAIR TREATMENT

If you notice any breakage, split ends and falling hair, why not try a hair mask. hair masks penetrate deep within the hair follicles and gives some much needed deep treatment for hair as well as scalp.

Summer is coming to an end and all those parties and holidays are on hold till next year but that doesn't mean you should neglect your hair. give it some much needed TLC for letting you have the most amazing hair in the summer, it will reward you in the future with healthy looking hair. I hope my tips will help you restore your hair back to a healthy state. Do you have any tips on how to take care of your hair? I would love to hear them.
