SUMMER HAIR CARE SERIES PART 2

This is the second part of my Summer Hair Care Series and its about Beach Holiday Hair. The easiest hair style to pull off without a lot of effort is the beachy wave look. I love this look because you don't need a lot of time and effort to create the look and you can even call a messy hair day the beach look. Most people love going to the beach in the summer and on summer holiday in the beach the best hair style is the tousled wave look. It looks like you have spent a lot of time on your hair but when actually its super easy and fast. You need to create the illusion and envy and that is when you know you have achieved the beach holiday hair.

SUMMER HAIR CARE SERIES PART 2- BEACH HOLIDAY HAIR

SUMMER HAIR CARE SERIES PART 2- BEACH HOLIDAY HAIR

STEP 1

Go Natural - This looks needs to be a combination of beachy hair and bed head hair. In the end it should look as if you have gone to the beach and come and taken a nap and got up.The basics always easy, so the best option would be to embrace the natural texture of your hair. This creates the illusion that you actually have naturally wavy hair and doesn't show that you have tried too hard. If your not into the all natural look, you could blow dry your hair straight but don't create lift or volume to the crown and roots. No volume is what creates a very chic look.

STEP 2

Slight Curls - To create a slight curl to your hair without using a hot tool is very simple. All you need to do is apply some styling cream to your palms and run your hands through your dry hair first. Then you need to plait a loose braid leaving 2-3 inches from the bottom. This keep the ends looking straight. You need to tie the elastic band around your hair at the end just twice so that it wont leave a dent in your hair. Finish getting ready, then remove the braid and carefully run your hands through the braid. Viola you have slightly curly hair that looks effortless.

STEP 3

Curling Iron - If the braiding method doesn't work for your hair type then you will have to use a curling iron. The best would be to use a 2 inch curling iron. You need to start by curling your hair from the ear downwards in a figure 8. This will create the perfect effortless wave

STEP 4

Flat Iron - If all else fails or you could use a flat iron still to create the beachy wave that suits you. You need to use the flat iron in small sections, rotating the iron downwards forming a S shape. Make sure to keep the ends out so it looks clean and smooth

You know your hair the best and what will suit it, so make sure you create the beach wave that will compliment you. It needs to look effortless and natural and not over done, if not the whole point of having beachy waves is lost. This is the second part in my hair care series and I hope you will be able to achieve beachy waves with the help of my tips and tricks. How do you create beachy waves for the summer?
