REAL TECHNIQUES BLUSH BRUSH

Blush is something we all wear on a daily basis as it gives a bit of colour and life to our face. it can brighten up a dull face and give a glow to washed out look. Applying blush is not the most easiest to master and if you don't have a good brush to apply it can be a big disaster. As much as it is important to master the art of applying blush correctly its as important to have a good quality makeup brush. Real Techniques is known by everyone and they are experts when it comes to perfecting makeup brushes. They have quality makeup brushes with an affordable price tag. Today I have their Blush Brush which I bought from Boots in the UK for £9.99 but if you live in Hong Kong you can buy then from Hakme Beauty and Dudes HK.

Real Techniques have the most fun colours when it comes to their makeup brushes. That makes you want then even more, at least I think. The brush itself comes with a good size that be stood upright and has a good grip and hold. The brush is very light even though it looks a bit chunky, the brush being light makes the application so much easier. The bristles are synthetic but still feel super soft on the skin. The dome shape of the brush makes it perfect for contouring and defining your cheeks.

The brush picks up product well and applies perfectly onto the cheek. I have not noticed a lot of fall off  of the product. You can apply the blush right on to your cheeks and blend and smoothen it out with ease. All you need is to get product just onto the tip of the brush and blend it out with the rest of the brush. The blush gets an even application and is perfectly blended. The dome shape of the brush makes is perfect for contouring your cheeks as it fits perfectly in the hollows of your cheeks. I also like to use the blush brush with powder to set the foundation. The dome shape is perfect for applying powder in the t-zone and even all over. I mainly use this as a powder brush when I have a client. As usual the Real Techniques makeup brushes are so multi-purpose which is great, just in case you forget a brush.

Overall yet another lovely makeup brush by Real Techniques and they never disappoint. They are so affordable and have you get so many different uses from one brush that its worth the investment. I have so many different brush from them and I still keep adding more. Definitely worth the investment and you should think about getting a few.

Have you used the Real Techniques blush brush? What did you think? What is your favourite brush to apply blush? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.

  2. One of my favourite brushes. With a sheer-ish blush you get effortless application with a single brush stroke. I do find some control issues with more pigmented stuff sometimes but maybe I just need to get back into practice, been skipping blush a bit lately. :D also, this brush will last you forever, mine is coming up to 2 years I think and looks more or less like new and it used to commute with me :D
