MAC BLUSH COLLECTION

I love blusher and I always wear it and try most of the time to never leave the house without a touch of blush. Obviously if I am going to the supermarket I don't wear but for any outing I definitely will. As much as I am a makeup hoarder I also love collecting blusher. One of my favourite brands for blush is MAC, they do such amazing products that are so pigmented and they also have such amazing shades. One of my all time favourite blushers from MAC is Love Thing. Today I have a few more that I have added to my collection and I think I need to buy a palette and depot them. This way I can take them whenever I have a makeup job as well.

MAC BLUSH COLLECTION
L to R -  Peachy keen(Sheertone), Springsheen(Sheertone), Stubborn(Pro Longwear)

I have with me Peachykeen, Springsheen which are sheertone blushes and Stubborn which is a Pro Longwear blush. I bought them from the MAC counter here in Hong Kong and the sheertone cost HK$185 and the Pro Longwear blush cost HK$195

MAC Peachykeen

MAC Peachykeen Blush

A finely milled blusher that is described as a baby peach colour with a cool undertone. Its more of a pink and peach tones blusher. This blush is from the sheertone collection. It does have a slight orange tone to it but once you have applied it, its more of a pink and peach that shines through. It does have a very slight shimmer to it but nothing too over the top. This blusher is also compared to NARS Orgasm, I have not tried it so I cant really compare but if you have please let me know.

This blush is absolutely soft and the best part is it isn't very powdery so you wont have a lot of excess fall off. The blush blends easily onto your cheeks and has the most amazing colour pay off. This shade is a bit lighter on my skin tone so I mostly wear it during the day. It gives a lovely glow and peach tones make my skin glow. I love that specially because during the day I don't wear a lot of makeup and this gives it a bit more life and gives a bit of colour. This colour would be perfect for lighter skin tones and so I also use it on my clients. The wear time I would say is a bit over about 5 hours on me as I do have oily skin so once my skin tends to get oily it does start to fade a bit.

MAC Springsheen

MAC Springsheen Blush

A finely milled blusher that is described as a golden tawny peach colour. Its more of a peach and gold tones blusher with a warm undertone. This blush is from the sheertone collection. It does have a very slight shimmer to it but nothing too over the top.

This blush is absolutely soft and the best part is it isn't very powdery so you wont have a lot of excess fall off. The blush blends easily onto your cheeks and has the most amazing colour pay off. I mainly use it during the day as it is a bit light on my skin tone. Sometime during the night I use it as a highlight because it does have a slight shimmer to it. I like how the gold shimmer particles make my cheek bones look. This colour would be perfect for lighter skin tones and so I also use it on my clients. The wear time I would say is the same as peachykeen which is a bit over 5 hours on me as I do have oily skin so once my skin tends to get oily it does start to fade a bit.

MAC Stubborn

MAC Stubborn Blush

A finely milled blusher that is described as a  raspberry pink with a cooler undertone. Its from the Pro Longwear collection and is a matte blusher. Its more of a dark plum shade for me and one of my favourite blushes at the moment.

This blush is absolutely soft and is a bit more powdery than the rest so you might have a bit of excess fall off, just remember to dust off the excess. It has a very soft and silky texture to it. The blush blends easily onto your cheeks and has the most amazing colour pay off. It has a very soft and silky texture to it. I use it during the day and night but since it has amazing colour pay off you need to use a very light hand when applying this blusher. The wear time is the best out of the three on me and will last all day till I get back home. I kid you not, it lasts all day on my oily skin. Since it has a plum tone to it this shade is amazing on my skin tone and really stands out.

These blushes are amazing and has amazing colour pay off. I mean MAC is known for having such amazing makeup products and I love their blushes. I think its time to start depot them and have a palette. I definitely recommend these blushes and my favourite is Stubborn. They are a bit more on the pricey side I would say but they last long and are a good investment. I cant wait to collect more and grow my collection even more.

Have you tried any of the MAC blushes? Which is your favourite? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.
