REVIEW | ST. IVES MOISTURISING OLIVE SCRUB

We have so many different face scrubs that it is very difficult to choose one that suits you and it has to be by trial and error because one that suits somebody else wont suit your skin and needs. We first need to understand our skin before choosing a face scrub. My skin added to the fact that it is oily and some times falls into the combination category is also sensitive. I have to be careful with what I put on my face as it tends to flare up really quickly if something irritates it. one of the biggest issues I have is that if I use a face scrub that has relatively big granules my skin breaks out and if I over exfoliate my skin breaks out as well so I tend to use a face scrub every 2 weeks or so. This where the St. Ives Moisturizing Olive Scrub as its gentle and the granules are almost invisible. I bought mine from superdrug in the UK but unfortunately I cant seem to find it and it is out of stock even on Amazon. I think it cost around £3.99

As you can see from the picture the scrub is a smooth and soft scrub and has a moisturizer like feel to it. The best part is it has a slight green tint to it and it smells divine. Smells like olives and it isn't too over powering.

The scrub is very soft and kind of feels like a gel when you get in onto your fingers and super moisturizing when you apply start scrubbing it in. It was gentle and super soft on my skin. It didn't feel like my skin was being scraped. The granules are absolutely soft and isn't harsh on the skin.

My skin felt super soft and refreshed after I had used this scrub. My face felt smooth and rejuvenated as if the new layer of the skin was brought up. The best part is that my skin didn't break out and I tested that out by using the scrub at least 3 times a week to see how my skin reacted and it didn't break out. My face didn't feel greasy or there wasn't an oily residue left behind as well after using it.

Overall a lovely and inexpensive face scrub that is gentle and wont irritate your skin in the process of revealing newer skin. I definitely recommend that you give this ago and olive oil is known to be good for the skin.

I know a lot of people have used the apricot face scrub by St. Ives but have any of you tried this scrub? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.
