REVIEW | NYX HD PHOTOGENIC CONCEALER

Another one of my favorite concealers that I use quit often and love. My love for concealers came when I was studying to be an MUA and when I saw what a difference it can make to your look. Ever since then I have been on the hunt for amazing concealers and one of it is the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer and I have the shade Nutmeg. I bought mine from the NYX counter here in Hong Kong and it cost me around HK$150

The concealer comes in a tube like bottle and it has a wand with a doe foot applicator that actually makes the application really easy. This shade matches my skin tone the best and it also highlights the under eye area at the same time. The texture is a bit thick and creamy with a matte finish.

I use the doe foot applicator to apply a few dots under the eye area and buff it in with my ringer finger and use a makeup sponge as well as a concealer brush to blend the concealer. The coverage is medium to heavy and does conceal dark circles really well. It also brightens the under eye area and gives a smooth finish to the under eye area. The concealer photographs well and the under eye area in the photographs look amazing and as if my dark circles have vanished. The concealer does last all day and doesn't crease or get patchy at all. You will need to set the concealer with a powder so it will last.

I always wear concealer and never miss this step as I have noticed that wearing concealer makes a big difference to your appearance. It will get rid of tiredness your eyes are showing and gives it a brighter and awakened look. You can create a no makeup, makeup look and look fresh and natural so don't ever miss this step, you will see the difference when you start using a concealer.

Have you ever used the NYX HD Photogenic Concealer? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.
