REVIEW | MAKEUP REVOLUTION FOCUS & FIX CONCEALER

I have been of lately loving concealers as it has been my saving grace these days. In the summer I prefer pressed powder foundations as it makes my skin less oilier and for me to be able to do that I need to use a concealer, that's where my obsession comes in with concealers. Today I have with me the Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Concealer. I got it down from the UK from Superdrug and it cost £2.

I bought the shade Dark as it was the darkest shade available and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that it did suit my skin tone. The packaging is mostly like any other concealer wand with a doe foot application. That does make the applying  process much easier as its easy to get a precise application. The texture is a bit thick and creamy but does have a very smooth and soft feel to it.

The concealer is easy to blend with your finger or a brush but I always prefer to use my fingers as that gives the most natural finish. The coverage is very light so if you have heavy dark circles or eye bags then this is not for you. I don't have heavy dark circles or eye bags and this still was not enough coverage for me as I felt it didn't cover up a lot. It does give a smooth and very natural finish but a very light one at that. I did however notice that it did brighten up the under eye area a bit so I usually use a under eye corrector and then use this on top to brighten up the area and reduce the dullness.

I have not been using this quite often but there are days that my under eye area is good and I don't need a lot of coverage, that's when I take this out and use it. Perfect for a no makeup, makeup look. It didn't crease or anything but I did feel that it got completely absorbed into the skin and kind of vanishes through out the day. So the wear time is very little.

Overall not quite a satisfactory concealer but if you are someone with very little dark circles I think it should be fine. The price isn't very heavy so I guess you cant expect a lot from it. I personally prefer concealers with a bit more of coverage.
