DISAPPOINTING PRODUCTS #1

On and off you do come a few products that don't agree with you or either they just don't perform as well as they claim they would. To be honest I dont have a lot of these products but I did come across a few of them and decided to share them with you in case you were thinking of getting them yourself, this way you can be pre warned and will have an idea of how it will be like.

DISAPPOINTING PRODUCTS

DISAPPOINTING PRODUCTS 1
L to R - Kate Somerville Clearing Mask, Superdrug 2 in 1 Moisturizer and Serum, Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser, Kate Somerville Quench Oil Free Serum, Kate Somerville Dermal Quench Liquid Lift, Kate Somerville Exfolikate Gentle Scrub

This time as disappointing products I have a few skincare products with me that I had tried and they didn't agree with my skin type and some of them were more suited for mature skin. However Just in case I thought I will do mini reviews of these skincare products to give you an idea if they are worth investing your money.

Kate Somerville Clearing Mask - This supposed to be good for oily and blemish prone skin but after using it a couple of time I didn't a change and neither did it do any thing to my skin. Normally when ever I have used a mask my skin feels soft and super cleaned. This mask had no effect on me or on my skin type which is oily.

Superdrug 2 in 1 Moisturizer and Serum - My skin just broke out immediately after just using on one occasion. In the morning the next day I had a few pimples pop up. I continued using it to see if my skin will adjust and calm down but unfortunately it didn't, it got a bit worse. Breaks plus my skin became even more oilier and my t-zone was just a mess so I stopped using it and gave it to my mom. my mom loves it as she has normal to dry skin.

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser -  This product had quite a few good reviews and that why I decide to give it a try but just like the 2 in 1 my skin broke out and I had a slight uncomfortable sensation when I used this. I had to stop using this product and gave this one to my mom as well and it works well on her skin type.

Kate Somerville Quench Oil Free Serum - This serum is a lovely luxurious serum, however it didn't agree with me even though it was recommended for me by their staff. This serum made my skin oily through out the day and I started getting a few break out because my skin was oilier than usual. I was quite sad to stop using it as my skin felt much softer. However I gave this as well to my mom and she said that she noticed a big difference when she started using it. So I suggest its better suited for mature skin.

Kate Somerville Dermal Quench Liquid Lift - This product is supposed to reduce fine line but I never noticed any difference and I don't have such noticeable wrinkles decided my mom will have better results. I was pleasantly surprised that my mom loved it and said she was a difference with wrinkles and that her skin felt tighter and firmer. So definitely a product for mature skin with fine lines.

Somerville Exfolikate Gentle Scrub - I love scrubs as they help to renew your skin and get rid of dead skin. This scrub is gentle and the granules are very small so it doesn't scrape the skin. As I have mentioned before my skin is sensitive and when I started using this scrub my skin felt uncomfortable and I stopped using this scrub. My mom on the other hand has enjoyed and it has agreed with her skin. So normal to dry skin is the best for this product.

I hope these mini reviews will help you next time your thinking of buying any of the skincare products I have mentioned. The best results would be if you have normal to dry skin and if you have oily skin, you might experience shine and your skin might get oilier so be careful. Have you tried any of these skincare products? Let me know what you thought in the comment box below.

  3. What a shame about the Kate Somerville products! I still want to try the goats milk moisturizer but if it doesn't work for me, I'll return it back to Sephora!
