ARDELL BRUSH ON LASH ADHESIVE
I love the packaging and it is so travel friendly as well. As you can see from the pictures the glue wand has a very thin brush and is the perfect size so that you can directly apply the glue on to the false lashes itself. The glue is very sticky and has a slightly thick texture to it. I have to say though that the glue is awesome and when you stick the false lashes it doesn't come off till you take it off and the best part is that the lashes stick on to the lash line in one go so you don't have to go back and forth trying to get it to stick. This makes the process so much easier and the client feels comfortable plush it shows I know what I am doing myself. You also don't need to wait a till the glue gets tacky to stick the false lashes on as the glue is already tacky when you apply it, so you can apply the false lashes immediately.
One thing I did notice is that if you have very sensitive eyes this might be a bit harsh and might sting your eyes a bit so I would suggest you stay away from this glue. If you do get some glue accidentally on the it is a bit difficult to take off, I suggest dipping a a cotton bud in some moisturizer and using that to wipe it off as it makes the process so much easier. Finally taking the lashes off can be a bit difficult as it does stick on quite well so you need to remove a little at a time and shouldn't remove the whole false lash at once as it will hurt a bi.
DUO EYELASH ADHESIVE
I got the glue in white colour which when it dries becomes invisible. They also have a black glue which I feel is a bit more noticeable if it does go all over the eye lids. Lets talk about the packaging, for me personally the packaging isn't all that user friendly, When you squeeze the tube a whole lot of glue comes out and you cant really control how much comes out. You also need to take the glue out first on to your hands or a tissue and then use a cotton bud to apply the glue onto the false lashes and then stick them on. It can get a bit messy and you need to be quick as the glue tends to get a bit tacky quite soon. How ever the glue does stick the lashes on till you take it off and is quite gentle on sensitive eyes and doesn't irritate them, so a lot of people prefer using this one. Taking off the lases is easy as well and even if you get it on the skin it isn't difficult to get off.
In comparison I would say Duo glue will agree with most eyes and is much more gentle and easy to remove even though the process of taking the glue can be a bit more time consuming. The Ardell lash glue is a bit more on the stronger side and doesn't agree with most eyes and specially sensitive eyes so you have to be careful when using it. It is much easy to use and much less tedious process to apply the glue. I like both and have both glues with me on hand so I can use which ever one I like. So both glues gets a thumbs up from me but I would say Duo glue would be a better option to have as its much gentler on the eyes.
So have tried either the Ardell Glue or Duo? Let me know what your go to lash adhesive is to apply your false lashes in the comment box below.
