I got the Hot Cloth Cleanser and the 2 in 1 Moisturiser and Serum. The products are only available at Superdrug as it is their own range of skincare products. The Cleanser costs £5.99 and the Serum costs £5.99 which relatively affordable compared to most skincare products available.
SUPERDRUG'S NATURALLY RADIANT SKINCARE
BRIGHTENING HOT CLOTH CLEANSER
The cleanser has a thick and creamy texture to it and applies on the skin with a breeze. The cleanser does come with a muslin cloth but I like to use my own one. There is a slight fruit smell when you take the product out but its not too strong so you don't have to worry about that. I usually wet my face slightly and then apply the cleanser on to the skin and massage it into the skin in circular motion for about a minutes and then run the muslin cloth under warm water, squeeze the excess and then wipe the cleanser off the face. This way the muslin cloth acts as an exfoliater as well and you can remove all your makeup as well. Specially that black liner and mascara.
NATURALLY RADIANT 2 IN 1 MOISTURISER AND SERUM
The serum has a very light texture with a slight silicone feel to it but nothing too bad about it. There is no fragrance to it like the cleanser. As it has a moisturiser and serum both I did notice that it does take a bit longer to get absorbed fully into the skin. The moisturiser is easy to apply and goes smoothly over the skin. Just one pump is more than enough for the whole face and neck.
Sadly I regret to say that both these products made my skin flare up and react and I stared breaking out all over my face. However I didn't stop and continued to use it for about a week just to double check if my skin will adapt to the products, but it didn't. I also used the products individually with my regular skincare but it still flared up my skin so I had to stop using the products completely. I am really not sure what exactly made it react but I was sad to stop using it as I would have liked to see if it helped my skin look radiant.
If you have sensitive and oily skin like me that does react to certain products then I would suggest you take precautions before you decide to use these products. I will not be repurchasing any of these products again as it is not agreeing with my skin type. I will however check a few more skincare products from this range when I get the chance to see if it will be the same of if it will be fine with my skin. I did end up giving it to my mom and sis to use as their skin more towards the normal skin type and can use most products without an issue.
Have you used any of the Superdrugs Naturally Radiant Skincare products? Did it work well with you or did it make your skin react like mine did? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.
