REVIEW | L'OREAL WHITE PERFECT LASER ESSENCE

A serum is a highly concentrated gel like substance helping to combat specific targeted areas of the face and neck. Serums can penetrate the skin much faster than a moisturizer and that's one of the reasons we apply it before our daily moisturizer so that it will be absorbed well. One of my main concerns was that I was having a few scars on my face from a few pesky pimples that I couldn't leave alone. That was when I came across the L'oreal White Perfect Laser Essence that is supposed to even the skin tone and lighten dark spots. I bought mine from sasa for HK$150 as it was on offer at that moment from HK$205. You can buy it from Mannings, Bonjour and Watsons as well.

The product is described as "L'Oreal White Perfect Laser Anti-Spot Brightening Essence contains Ellagic Acid, an antioxidant found in many fruits and vegetables. It helps to regulate the production of melanin and prevent existing melanin from darkening. The advanced "Mild-Peeling Active"- Demoliss helps to exfoliate dead cells loaded with melanin, thus, refining the skin texture. Lightens existing dark spots through de-pigmentation and prevents the formation of new dark spots"

I have been testing this serum for the last 5-6 weeks on a daily basis where I have included it in my morning skincare routine. The texture is a light weight white cream that has a smooth feel to it once applied and does get absorbed really fast so you don't have to wait awhile before applying your moisturizer. This way your not wasting time as well. The serum doesn't have a fragrance which is good because I like when they don't as sometimes my skin reacts to skincare with fragrances.

With about a week I realised that my skin was looking a bit lighter and had a slight glow to it. After about a month my dark spots had lightened and some quite like almost invisible. I was really surprised and thrilled as well as I was trying really hard to get rid of it. I am still using the serum even today as it still isn't finished.

According to what I understand that happens is a very small peeling happens that is unnoticeable to the eye where it helps reduce the dark spots and reveal a healthy glowing skin. Well I am sure that's what happened because my skin looks much nice and my spots have lightened up as well.

Overall a good serum I would say I will continue to use and see how my skin looks when I have completely finished it. I'm hoping that the scars would be unnoticeable. I would recommend it if you do have scars and want to even your skin tone. I think I will be repurchasing it again if I have spots for sure.

So do you have a serum that you use for a specific concern? If so what is it? Have you tried this L'oreal White Perfect Laser Essence? Let me know in the comment box below.
