As I have mentioned before I so many of my posts I like to use a face wash in the shower as I feel it helps with my sensitive and oily skin. I always have one with all the time and at the moment I am using the Bioderma Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel. I bought Mine from Watsons for HK$180 but you can buy it from Bioderma counters in Hong Kong as well and Mannings as well.

Bioderma Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel

The gel is described as "A purifying gel that gently cleanses and prevents blemishes from the cleansing stage"

The gel is a blue light gel like foaming face wash that you can use as a cleanser and a face wash. Some times I like to apply it on my face like a cleanser and use a wash cloth to remove it after massaging it on to my face. It works better though when used as a face wash.

The face wash gets really foamy and lathers up really well and so its easy to use and wash your wash with while in the shower. The best part is that it doesn't dry out the skin once you have gotten out of the shower. Normally excess washing of the face or using a face wash can dry the skin drastically. Luckily this didn't and I noticed that it actually helped me to control my oil through the day. My face looked less oily and when I wore a foundation or a BB cream my skin became less oily or rather took longer to start getting oily.

This is one of the main reasons I use a wash face daily and also when ever my skin feels really oily and starts reacting when the weather gets hotter, so this helps me to keep my skin under control as ell because cleansing only doesn't help.

By far this is one of the best face washes I have used and I think I will be sticking with for the summer as it can get humid and stick here in Hong Kong. I would definitely recommend this to you and specially if like me you have oily skin I suggest you give this ago.

So have you tried the Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel by Bioderma or do you use a face wash at all? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.
