REVIEW | L'OREAL HEAT STYLING SPRAY

When it comes to applying heat protecting sprays I am the laziest person out there and I also keep forgetting. It maybe because I try to stay away from heating tools as I do have quite brittle and damaged hair. I use heating tools on occasions or if I am in a hurry and need to blow dry my hair asap. When I do dry my hair using my blow drier I use the L'Oreal Heat Styling Spray as it is a heat protector as well as helps to style the hair straight. If you live in Hong Kong you can buy it from your local sasa or Bonjour.

This spray protects the hair from heat up to 230 which is quite good in my opinion. It also depends on how much your heat setting is at as well. I try not to use very high heat when ever possible. So as I was saying when I blow dry my hair it doesn't exactly come out straight unless I use a brush and some times I just run my fingers through and do a rough blow dry. when ever I have used this spray my hair comes out pretty straight and last about 2 days as it is quite humid here in Hong Kong so by the 3rd day I would just need to run my hair iron through my hair a couple of times. However I have noticed that I do need to use a brush after using this spray if not it wont be exactly straight but there will be a slight wave in the hair. When I used this while living in the UK it did last me 3 days as it is much less humid over there.

You have to towel dry your hair and hold the bottle about an arms distance away and spray it all over your head. What I like to do is turn my down and spray the product when my hair is upside down. That way you reach more and use your hands to spread the product evenly through your hair. Then blow dry it which ever methods suits you but I would suggest to use a brush as its much faster and the hair is actually much straighter if you do. It is also supposed to fight frizz and flyaways but I actually don't have a lot of frizz and flyaways so cant really comment on that.

Using this heat styling spray makes me use one less heat tool as I can achieve the straight hair I want with out a hair straighter. Overall a good heat styling product and I do use it when ever I want straight hair.

Have you used the L'Oreal Heat Styling spray for straight hair? Do you use any styling product? Let me know in the comment box below.
