FACE OF THE DAY | MOSS GREEN SMOKEY EYE

I bought a new palette from Wet n Wild and had to start using it so I can review it for you guys so decided to wear a few shades from the palette since it had a lovely moss green and my outfit had green. I mixed it up with a peachy gold colour so that it would stand out as green can sometimes dull my face.

BASE

I mixed my MAC Matchmaster in 7.0 with Makeup Revolution in Dark Tone as the foundation is a bit light so the darker foundation balances the colour and it becomes the perfect colour. Then we come to the dreaded dark circles. I neutralized it with the NYX Dark Circles Concealer and on top of that used the Makeup Revolution Liquid Concealer in Dark. That way those pesky dark circles aren't visible any more. I used the liquid concealer around the nose and around the lips as well. I set the concealer with the Kryolan Loose Powder and the Ben Nye Neutral Set in my T-Zone.

EYES

Since It was during the day I did do a smokey eye but kept it very simple and not too deep. I started by preparing the eye lids with a primer. My lids are really oily. I used the Makeup Revolution Eye Primer in Matte. I used Two palettes for this look. For the neutrals and mattes I used the NYX Parsian Chic palette then for the deeper bolder colours the Wet n Wild Coloricon Palette in Comfort Zone. I then used the Pen Liner from Clio and lined the water line with a Clio Gel Pencil. I used the Jordana Mascara in Black to complete the look.

BROWS

I brushed my brows through and then outlined the top and bottom with a brow powder. I realized that way my brows look much more defined. I used the Collection Eyebrow Kit and used the second lightest colour from the palette. I then filled it in with the VDL Brow Pencil in Brown and set it with the Etude House Brow Gel in 03.

LIPS

The lips I kept it simple and not too complicated, using only the Modelsown Colour Lip Stix in Very Berry.

CHEEKS

Finally very lightly I brushed the NYX Blush in Bordeaux

So what do you think of my Moss Green Smokey Eye as my  FOTD? I like a little bit of colour but not too much.
