I love the bath bombs from Lush, they are so refreshing and smell amazing. Not only that but they do have amazing colours that change when in contact with water. I bought the bath bomb in Fizzbanger, which is a lemon colour and has a citrous fragrance to it.

The Fizzbanger costs HK$60 and can be bought at any Lush outlet in Hong Kong. There arent many but there a few in Hong Kong Island. Its supposed to be a ball but mine broke into two. The smell is very strong that you don't even need to add it to the water to get the smell. I love the citrous smell and once added it makes the water a lemon colour.

Fizzbanger is inspired by Roald Dhal's book the BFG and is supposed to be Jack's interpretation of what fizznabger dream would look like. So cool ha? As a kid I used to read Roald Dhal books.

Once added to the water it does take a bit of time to dissolve completely. I add it once the tub is half filled with water. I just crush it in  my hands and then hold it under the running water. That way it dissolves faster rather than just putting it whole into the tub.

The bubbles are from the bath essence that I added not the bath bomb, it only gives colour and an amazing smell. I did however feel that the bath bomb was very relaxing and soothing. Add the fact that its yellow just makes it even better. I soaked in the tub for about 20 minutes and for the whole 20 minutes the citrous smell was there and the whole bathroom smelled amazing. Once I added the bath bomb the smell from the bath essence was drowned a bit but when you get in the water did have a slight rose essence as well.

Overall it has a lovely smell with a calming and soothing effect, so if you are feeling a bit tired or stressed I would definitely recommend you give this a try.

Which is your favorite Lush Bath Bomb?

  1. I haven't tried Fizzbanger yet, but I think I'd love it just for the citrus smell. :) My current fav is Holly Golightly and I'm so sad it's gone since it's a holiday special. :/ haha
