I normally don't wear dark colours as it makes me look a bit darker than I usually am. How ever I was playing around with colours and thought I will try out a new look, a blue smokey eye for a party.

I recently bought a new eye shadow palette from the Italian brand Pupa and trying a different look. I never wear dark or cold colours but the colours were so beautiful that I just needed to create this look. A blue smokey eye with a black smokey effect.

So I started with a good base, used the MAC Matchmaster Foundation in 7.0 and blended with my Sigma F80 kabuki brush. This brush gives such a flawless finish. I used the Jordana concealer stick in Sand under the eyes. I set everything with the The Body Shop Pressed Face Powder in 06.

I have very oily eye lids so I always use a primer and my go to is the NYX Eye shadow base in Nude. This hold the shadow in place all day. The eye shadow palette was the Pupart Pocket Kit in Marine. it comes with a smoky eye pencil that you can use as a base which I did.

For the eye liner I used the Kate Tokyo Super Sharp Liner. Its so easy to use and draw the line close to the lash line. For the waterline I used the Clip Gel liner pencil. The Mascara was the Jordana mascara in Black.

For the brows I used my Etude House Brow Pencil in No 04 and the brow gel by Rimmel in Dark Brown. The blusher was by MAC called Love Thing. Finally the lips were also a MAC lipstick called Party Line.

This look is good for a night out partying as it is quite heavy and bold. If you can wear it for any other occasion by all means do so and brave you. I thought it was time to step out of my comfort zone and do something a bit different.

What do you think of my look? Do you wear bold eyes?
