NOTD | REVLON BEWITCHING

The sun has been making a bit of an appearance, So the only logical way to celebrate for me is to have a brighter nail polish on my fingers so I chose Revlon Bewitching as this weeks NOTD. Its such fun and bright red and surprisingly quite nice on my in tone. I bought Bewitching from my local beauty store SASA for HK$29.

REVLON BEWITCHING

REVLON BEWITCHING NAIL POLISH

The best part about these nail polishes are that they dry up pretty fast and just two coats is more than enough. The application is pretty easy and the brush is easy to use and manoeuvre around the nail. Its the usual wear time for me which is usually 2-3 days with slight chipping. The nail polish does dry up pretty fast and there is no waiting around forever for them  up.

The perfect summery red for my skin tone and perfect shade for when the sun is shining nice and bright. What do you think of this weeks NOTD? Let me know in the comment box below.

REVLON IMPULSIVE NAIL POLISH

Such a bright and bold shade I love it and Revlon by the way has some awesome shades and I love the nail polishes. They dry up pretty fast and just two coats is more than enough. The application is pretty easy and the brush is easy to use and manoeuvre around the nail. Its the usual wear time for me which is usually 2-3 days with slight chipping. The nail polish does dry up pretty fast and there is no waiting around forever for them  up.

The perfect mid week pick me to brighten up the day when its raining. What do you think of my NOTD this week? Have you ever tried a pinkish nude nail polish? Did you like it? let me know what you think in the comment box below.

BENEFIT POREFESSIONAL

I am back, I was away for awhile due to some personal and health reason that I needed to take care of, however I'm back blogging and I am glad to be back. To get back into blogging I thought I will share my thoughts on the Benefit Porefessional pore minimizing balm.

BENEFIT POREFESSIONAL

BENEFIT POREFESSIONAL

I got this one of those little makeup kits you get when you go to the Benefit counter in the airports. It had a few different mini products and it was perfect for my holiday so I just had to get it. If I remember correctly it was around HK$350. You can buy the You can buy the full size for HK$305 from any counter here in Hong Kong. I don't have a lot of open big pores but I do have a bit and that makes my T-Zone really oily and the summer is the worst on my skin. Since I got this in the little kit I bought I had to try it and being a freelance makeup artist means having to do up many different skin types so it had major benefits for me. I always like to try products before I use them on my clients.

I used it just on the areas that I felt needed it and believe me when I say it instantly smooths the area and makes the pores look SO much smaller. The skin once I have applied this is is super soft and kind of has a silky feeling to it. I let it sink in for about a minute and then apply my foundation or pressed powder. When I use liquid foundation the foundation glides smoothly over the area that I have applied the balm and doesn't make the foundation look streaky or patchy and even with my pressed powder which is the MAC Careblend the powder goes over smoothly and doesn't look caked on and neither does it streak. So you can see why I was impressed, so I added it to my professional kit. I didn't notice that my pores got blocked or looked worse and the best part I didn't break out. I love using this on clients and models who have pores that are visible its like magic and makes me use less product to try and cover them up, the client is happy and so am I. This has become a staple in my makeup kit and my professional kit.

I have to say I was very impressed, I had read a few mixed reviews on this awhile back so I didn't really expect much, but I must say it surely did surprise me and I am glad that I got this in the kit I bought at the airport, who else love airport makeup shopping. I definitely recommend this is like me you have oily skin and have pores.

Have you tried the Benefit Porefessional? Did you like it? Let me know what you think in the comment box below.
